Laura Mickelson has been a dedicated yoga instructor since 2009, when she discovered that yoga transcends physical exercise to offer profound physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. She holds a 500 RYT Yoga Alliance Certification, earned in June 2015, and boasts over 30 years of experience teaching various forms of group exercise, including aerobics, Step, Zumba, body sculpting with weights, and cardio kick.

 

Currently, Laura specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate alignment-based yoga and Vinyasa (flow) yoga. Her classes focus on building strength, balance, and flexibility while alleviating bodily pain. Laura’s philosophy embraces yoga as a holistic approach to achieving life balance, believing it can benefit everyone who is open-minded, ready for physical challenges, and eager for spiritual growth.
